A Plague Of Depression, Obesity, & Sedentary Lifestyles
Most Americans aren't active enough to stay in shape. As a nation, we live a sedentary lifestyle. Chances are, there are some obvious answers: eating right and aerobic training or other exercise, right? Billions are spent marketing food that's high in calories and low in nutrition. Teenagers and children play video games and watch TV, and now we've reached a healthcare crisis.
Depression and anxiety are rampant. Now osteoporosis endangers the young as well as the elderly. The frequency of high blood pressure and heart disease are increasing. An estimated 22 million Americans will have Type-2 Diabetes by 2025. Currently, about 41% of Americans have "pre-diabetes".
For The First Time In History, The Life Expectancy Of Americans Is Decreasing!
Even more alarming is the number of people that are turning to invasive, expensive surgery as a last hope to avoid more severe health problems instead of simply eating right and visiting a health club.
The problem is Americans have increasingly stressful lifestyles that have made it nearly impossible to maintain healthy lifestyles. Every year there are another 25 million Americans who fail to achieve fitness goals, goals such as joining a health club, visiting the workout facility at least 3 times a week, eating right, and maintaining proper nutrition. It's not that people don't want to be in good shape.
Chances are, you've experienced this yourself; how many times have you told yourself, "I'm going to get in shape"?
Did you achieve your goal?
